The Sony UWP-D22/K33 Wireless Mic Kit includes the UTX-M40 handheld microphone with unidirectional capsule ideal for ENG/EFP jobs. Advanced digital audio processing technology from Sony has an improved transient response performance with high quality audio in an easy to set-up package. True double tuner diversity provides stable signal reception and the wireless mic accepts a wide range of capsules, even from third parties with a standard threading of 1.25”/28. The UWP-D22 connects to  via the Multi Interface MI shoe as well as with  using an optional SMAD-P5 Multi Interface (MI) Shoe Adaptor. This eliminates cables and allows you to monitor URX-P40 settings via the camera’s viewfinder, including low battery alert, RF Quality meter and audio mute status.

Auto Gain Mode

You won’t always know the volume of your talent’s voice in advance, so Auto Gain mode has you covered, which sets the gain moderately high, then uses a limiter to help prevent distortion.

+15 dB off-mic Audio Boost

The +15 dB boost resets the gain when the microphone is not near the person’s mouth, helping to avoid insufficient audio levels during interviews.

Line Input

Set the appropriate input levels with MIC/LINE switching levels and adjustable attenuators.

Channel Memory

The Channel Memory function excels when you’re using one receiver in combination with two transmitters, where you can instantly switch between the previously set channel and the current channel.

NFC communication relays transmitter settings such as frequency and compander mode directly to the receiver, making it easy to set up multiple receivers in combination with one transmitter.

Reduced Size and Weight
