The body now features an improved 3-inch XGA LCD screen, which is inherited from the , which provides even better image clarity when monitoring the scene, playing back footage or navigating menus.

Alongside this upgrade Sony now includes a  in the box, which will help to streamline workflows for creators who require multiple batteries for all-day shooting sessions. Please note that a USB-C cable and power cord are no longer supplied with the camera, and the FX3 no longer features NFC or an infrared remote receiver.
