The Nano Shield kits from Rycote are a revolutionary advancement in windshield technology. These kits are 30% lighter and have a smaller overall footprint compared to existing kits. The interchangeable magnetic basket halves allow for fast setups and mic swaps, while the redesigned and patented Lyre mounts offer improved handling noise reduction. Best of all, no tools are needed to make adjustments or swap out Lyre mounts.

The Nano Shield also features an oval blimp design with non-parallel sides for better wind protection and less internal resonance. The large hexagonal pockets provide better acoustic transparency and less high frequency loss. Other features include a slim design friction-braking swivel arm, low profile XLR cable with built-in RF filter and switchable 80Hz low-cut, ergonomic handle with built-in PCS quick release, and removable/interchangeable windshield socks. The Nano Shield is compatible with various microphone sizes and can be configured using the unique magnetic locking basket design. Overall, the Nano Shield sets a new standard for performance and versatility in windshield kits.
