The OM System OM-5 Mark II Digital Camera Body Black is a compact, lightweight second-gen. Micro Four Thirds camera for outdoor photographers and adventurous hybrid creators who want reliable performance without the weight associated with other bodies. At just 370g (body only), it’s one of the most portable weather-sealed available, offering IP53 protection for use in cold, wet and dusty outdoor environments.

This second-generation model from features several upgrades including a more comfortable grip and a redesigned menu layout for enhanced operation and easy navigation. Image quality is handled by a 20MP Live MOS sensor with TruePic IX, which deliver excellent stills and video performance. Advanced in-camera computational tools such as Live ND, high-res shooting up to 80MP, and new handheld assist modes provide useful creative options, many of which can be quickly accessed by a dedicated computational photography dial.

For video creators, the OM-5 Mark II includes new OM-Cinema 1 and OM-Cinema 2 colour profiles, along with vertical video support, and slow-motion recording at 120fps in Full HD. 4K video at up to 30p is also supported, and this camera doubles as a high-quality webcam via USB-C.

A new night vision mode is included for working in extremely low light, while the 5-axis image stabilisation system offers up to 7.5-stops of compensation against camera shake with compatible .
