OM System OM-5 Mark II Black with 17mm f/1.8 II Lens Kit Summary
The OM System OM-5 Mark II with 17mm f/1.8 II Lens is a compact, weather-sealed Micro Four Thirds kit that’s ideal for street, travel and everyday content creation. It combines the second-generation  with a fast, lightweight wide-angle prime, which provides a highly capable solution for handheld photography and hybrid content creation in virtually any conditions. The camera weighs just 370g, while the lens adds a mere 112g, which add up to under 500g, and makes this one of the lightest hybrid  available.
The Mark II body from  features a redesigned grip for much better purchase, and an updated menu system, making operation even more intuitive and comfortable than the first model. It also includes a 20.4 megapixel stacked BSI sensor and TruePic IX processor, which is supported by powerful 5-axis in-body stabilisation and a full suite of computational tools.
These include both tripod and handheld high-res shooting, Live ND, and focus stacking, with these and more computational tools accessible via its own dedicated dial. New additions such as handheld assist, OM Cinema video profiles, and ongoing support for vertical video make sure that this is a true hybrid option for any audience.
The lens in the kit provides a 34mm full-frame equivalent field of view with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, which is great for available light subjects and to achieve shallow depth of field where the subject pops out of the frame. It includes manual focus for video control and fast AF for responsive shooting when the subject is moving around.
With both stills and video capabilities that punch well above its weight, this setup is ideal for travel, everyday use, as well as discreet handheld documentary-style content creation on the streets.
