The apochromatic optics (APO) render well controlled images with minimal chromatic aberration, purple fringing or ghosting, so you spend less time editing.

A high 2:1 magnification lets you to capture beautiful close-ups of insects, flowers and other subjects in immense detail, and the 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro also provides excellent low light performance from the f/2.8 wide maximum aperture. 2x Maximum magnification

With up to 2x magnification you can capture extremely fine details of your subject, perfect for tiny insects, flowers and close-up shots of all kinds. Lens magnification ranges from 0.1x to 2x while focusing as close as 20.5cm to infinity, with a maximum 2:1 ratio for astonishing images of different sizes.

Apochromatic APO Design

The apochromatic APO optical design delivers superb results from minimum focus distance to infinity. You also see well controlled images across the aperture range even wide open and through all magnifications.

The 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO is designed exclusively for mirrorless systems with a shorter and wider flange distance in Nikon’s case. The resulting weight is around 619g and the lens is also compact measuring approximately 120mm long.

Outstanding sharpness

A 13 element design includes three extra-low dispersion elements, providing high optical quality with outstanding results from corner to corner of the image. Sharpness is perceptible even when wide open, right through to f/8 and even f/11 and the lens demonstrates great contrast and resolution.
