The GK2542-82QD is a tripod and tripod head kit comprising of a  and a Series 3 , recommended for DSLRs with 200mm lenses (up to a maximum of 300mm).

The GT2542 tripod is a sturdy, perfectly balanced, standard-height 4-section Series 2 tripod featuring Carbon eXact tubes with larger diameters for significant improvements in stiffness. Its top leg section diameter is 29mm and it has a useful 180 cm maximum height withe the centre column raised along with 18 kg safety payload. This is one of the most popular  as a great all-rounder well suited to most types of photography including landscapes.

The tripod is carefully matched with a GH3382QD Center Ball Head, engineered and designed focusing on ultimate smoothness and precision of the movement and locking. Its large ball and quick release adapter assure comfortable use with heavier equipment.

Supplied with a Arca-Swiss compatible plate (GS5370D), but is also compatible with all of Gitzo’s D profile plates and fits most Arca-Type style  from other brands.
