The EOS R6 Mark II includes a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor with fast readout speeds, which delivers blackout-free continuous shooting up to 40fps when using the electronic shutter. Canon’s effective Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system offers intelligent subject tracking across the frame, and is able to detect people, animals, birds and vehicles. The  also features in-body image stabilisation that provides up to 8 stops of compensation when combined with supported . For video content the camera records uncropped 4K 60p which is oversampled from 6K, with support for Canon Log 3, false colour, zebra display and focus breathing correction tools.

The RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM is compact and fast, with a constant f/2.8 aperture and a 5-stop image stabiliser built-in.
