Following the success of the original SLIM , this series has been expanded to include a new model that offers a compact folded length as well as a slim profile. The Benro Slim Carbon Fibre Travel Tripod Kit (FSL09) has 5 leg sections and a reverse folding design, which reduces the folded size to only 31.5cm, which is perfect for hikes and travel.

But don’t let its small size fool you, this  opens to 130cm, making it a practical solution for photographers who need to travel light but still need a tripod for stability. The Carbon Fibre legs remains the ultimate material for lightness and portability, and features a removable leg which can be attached to the centre column to create a monopod.

Anodised aluminium twist locks only require a quick half turn to lock and unlock, while a grooved centre column prevents twisting when in use and can be reversed for low to the ground shots. Other features include 3 leg positions for use on uneven terrain, a weight hook, which is located underneath the centre column for windy conditions and the legs are fitted with fixed rubber feet. There’s even a bubble level on the quick release clamp, which makes it easier to get level shots.

The included removable N00 aluminium  is also supplied by  and has an oversized ratchet style single lock-ing control knob for easy operation, as well as a panoramic scale. You also get a blue anodised aluminium Arca-style quick release plate with a D-ring 1/4″-20 thread in the kit, and a compact carry case.
