You can enjoy the delicate beauty unique to silk.
It is a sturdy yet gentle-to-the-skin piece crafted by a renowned Kyoto braiding shop. The strap is meticulously sewn by skilled artisans.

We’ve adopted the braiding technique known as Ayatake-gumi, which has been primarily used since the Kamakura period as part of omogai (a piece of equipment used on a horse’s mouth). One of the features of Ayatakegumi is that various patterns can be expressed depending on the combination of the braided threads.
This beautiful gradient, transitioning from black to red and black to silver, showcases exquisite color shifts. Artisans use natural dyes, thanks to their skilled knowledge and experience that consider factors such as temperature and humidity during the dyeing process.
Plain weave reduces the burden on the neck. In addition, the fine weave makes it soft to the touch and gives you a higher feeling of use.

*Please note that this is a ring-type strap for cameras with eyelets. It is not compatible with tape-type camera eyelets.
